Tax season has a bad reputation for a good reason: it can be extremely stressful. Many people don’t really understand tax law and they just hope that whoever does their taxes understands enough that they don’t get in trouble with the IRS. That isn’t the way to live. You should feel confident in your tax preparer to the point where you hope that you accountant will go above and beyond to ensure that you get the most back. Furthermore, you should try to build a relationship with your tax preparer so that you can grow with that person.
Unfortunately, big name branches don’t always allow you to do that. They have a high turnover rate and it seems like you are just a number. That’s why it is important to find an accounting, CPA, or tax preparer that you can trust. If you haven’t found that person yet, here are a few in the State College area that we suggest:
1. Mindy M. Thomas CPA
A full-service CPA firm in State College, Mindy M. Thomas CPA offers a broad range of financial services for people from all walks of life, from business owners and executives to those who are just starting their careers. They go above and beyond for each client, working diligently to problem solve and get you the most back on your taxes.
